Who's on the move in the electrical industry.

Stuart C. Irby Co. (Jackson, Miss.): Stuart M. Irby, former president of Stuart C. Irby, and his wife Karen are recovering from serious injuries suffered during a car accident in Jackson on Feb. 11. Updates on their condition are available at www.caringbridge.org/visit/stuartirby.

Schaedler Yesco Distribution Inc., (Harrisburg, Pa.): Greg Schaedler was appointed branch manager for the company's Harrisburg, Lebanon and Pocono Mountain facilities. A fourth-generation member of the Schaedler family, Schaedler has held various roles within the company including sales, counter expansion and purchasing.

ILSCO (Cincinnati): Andrew B. Quinn has been appointed president and will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the U.S. and Canadian manufacturing and sales operations. David J. FitzGibbon will remain CEO of ILSCO. In other news at the company, Gary Norris, vice president of distribution, marketing and sales, was awarded NEMRA's Thomas F. Preston Manufacturer of the Year Award at the meeting of the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association Annual Meeting in Orlando on March 19.

Amerlux Lighting Solutions (Fairfield, N.J.): Bill Plageman is now the company's vice president of product marketing. Plageman has been with the company for more than five years, serving most recently as vice president of national specification sales. Before joining Amerlux as director of specification sales, Plageman spent more than a decade with Lightolier, a division of the Genlyte Group, as regional director of national accounts.

Electri-Flex Co. (Roselle, Ill.): Dennis Linden is now national sales manager. Linden has held sales positions with Ideal Industries, the Walker division of Wiremold and Lutron Electronics. His most recent position was regional vice president for Universal Lighting Technologies. He will report directly to Ed Marinelli, president. In a related announcement, Tom Latura has opted for early retirement. Tom has spent over thirty-two years with Electri-Flex in various sales positions.

Penton Media Inc. (New York): David Miller was named to the newly created position of market leader, Electrical, Energy and Construction Markets. Miller continues to have overall responsibility for Penton's electrical industry titles, including Electrical Marketing, Electrical Wholesaling and Electrical Construction & Maintenance (EC&M), while adding several energy- and construction-related properties such as T&D World and Rock Products.

Crawford Electric Supply/Sonepar USA (Dallas): Craig Levering, CEO of Crawford Electric Supply (CESCO) in Dallas has announced his retirement. During his tenure, the company grew from less than $2 million per year and one branch to over $400 million per year and nine branches in Texas and Louisiana. Levering sold CESCO to Sonepar USA in January, 2007. His email address is [email protected].

Nora Lighting Inc. (Commerce, Calif.): Louise Gardner has been appointed director of marketing and engineering and will direct Nora's brand positioning and marketing efforts, and oversee engineering and new product development. She brings more than 20 years of management, product engineering and marketing expertise to the position. She worked as an engineer with Kenall Manufacturing, Gurnee, Ill., and the Dietzgen Corp. in Park Ridge, Ill., and was recently director of sales and marketing at Moz Designs in Oakland, Calif.
