Kirby Risk Electrical Supply (Lafayette, Ind.): Edgar Cyr has been promoted to manager, sales administration and pricing. A 10-year veteran with the company, Cyr was most recently marketing manager-automation products. Rich Bradshaw has been appointed branch manager for the Kokomo, Ind., branch. Most recently, he was sales manager, strategic accounts. Nick Stewart was promoted to branch manager in Olney, Ill. Previously, he worked in counter sales/warehouse. Jay Price was promoted to area sales manager for the following Indiana locations: Lafayette, Frankfort, Rensselaer, Muncie, Anderson and New Castle. Prior to this appointment, he was an automation sales group area manager for PLC/HMI. Dan Jordan has joined the automation sales group as an automation consultant and area manager for PLC/HMI. Previously, he was an engineer for the technical services group.

Colonial Electric Supply (King of Prussia, Pa.): The distributor announced the following changes to its projects department. Pete Velletri, previously lead sales engineer for General Electric Industrial Systems, was named gear specialist. Henry Leshner joins Colonial as lighting sales specialist. Leshner previously worked as projects manager for County Electric.

Osram Sylvania (Danvers, Mass.): Jeffrey A. Hoffman has been appointed vice president of the company's General Lighting division. Hoffman succeeds Francis J. Santiago, who was promoted to executive vice president and general manager of Precision Materials & Components Worldwide. Santiago has also been named a member of the Osram Sylvania executive committee. Santiago is a 30-year veteran with the company; Hoffman has been with Osram for almost 20 years.

ABCO Electrical Construction and Design, LLC (Chicago): Dan Zwahlen has been promoted to director of residential construction. Previously, he was general foreman.

Post Glover (Erlanger, Ky.): Tony Locker joins Post Glover as vice president of engineering. Previously, he was a consultant for JMP & Associates Inc.

Specialty Lighting, a JJI Lighting Group company (Shelby, N.C.): Gregory Carpenter has been appointed vice president, general manager. Carpenter joins Specialty Lighting with 15 years leadership experience, most recently with Drexel Heritage.

ABB Inc. (Raleigh, N.C.): James St. Clair Jr. has been appointed distribution development manager of the company's Power Technology Products division. Previously, he was marketing manager for the Distribution Transformer division. Additionally, six regional vice presidents have been appointed with responsibility for the sales of all Power Technology products: Glenn Ferguson, Northeast region; Frank Stiff, Southeast region; Dan Tucker, South Central region; Scott Welbaum, Central region; Bob Stephens, Northwest region; and Rose Stanton, Southwest region.

Howard Industries (Laurel, Miss.): In an organizational restructuring, Howard is increasing the number of regional managers in its Ballast Products division from three to five: John Clancy, Western regional manager; Chis Tullos, Southwest regional manager; Kevin Hughes, Midwestern regional manager; and Chris Logan, Southeastern regional manager. The Northeast regional manger will be announced at a later date.

IMARK (Oxon Hill, Md.): Pat Hare, president of Parrish-Hare Electrical Supply, Dallas, was elected to a two-year term as IMARK's chairman of the board. Steve Helle, president of Granite City Electric Supply, Quincy, Mass., was elected to a three-year term on the board. Elected to second three-year terms were Pat Hare, R. Lee Hite, president of The Hite Co., Altoona, Pa.; and Bob LaRue, president of Alameda Electrical Distributors, Hayward, Calif.

Metabo Corp. (West Chester, Pa.): Joining the company as director of corporate development, Martin Cross was previously general manager with a division of W.W. Grainger.

Independent Electrical Contractors Inc. (Alexandria, Va.): The IEC board of directors recently voted on and inducted 2003 officers: President Eugene Mini, president/CEO of VJ Mini & Son Inc., Boonton, N.J.; National Senior Vice President Steve Humphrey Sr., president/CEO of Humphrey & Associates Inc., Dallas; National Vice-President J.B. Wise, president and CEO of Wise Electric Inc., Monument, Colo.; National Vice President John Biagas, president/CEO of Bay Electric Co., Newport News, Va.; Treasurer Dennis Thomas, president/CEO of Thomco Electric Inc., Beltsville, Md.; Interim Secretary Jim Thurman, president/CEO of T&O LLC, Louisville, Ky.

Hubbell Inc. (Orange, Conn.): Wesson M. Brown, senior group vice president of the new Hubbell Lighting Platform will retire effective Jan. 1, 2003. Brown has been directing the integration of the LCA acquisition with Hubbell's Lighting business and ultimately into Hubbell Inc. He has been with the company for more than 27 years.

Howard Industries, Laurel, Miss., has made changes in its representation. Blanchard Associates, Ontario, Calif., covers the Southern California and Las Vegas area. Damin Sales, Edison, N.J., takes over metro New York and northern New Jersey. Pollart Electrical Sales Inc., Bellmawr, N.J., now represents Howard Industries in southern New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, northeast Virginia, Maryland and Washington, D.C. Hodges Southwest Inc., Houston, comes on board for Texas. Callas/Kingsley Electrical Sales, Wood Dale, Ill., takes over the northern Illinois area.

Ardee Lighting (Shelby, N.C.): Genlyte Sales of Tampa now represents the manufacturer throughout central western Florida, including Tampa.

Guarantee Electrical Co. (St. Louis): Ronald Bachelier and Philip Jacquot have each been promoted to director of operations, service division. Previously, both were senior project managers. Steven Briesacher and David Gralike have each been promoted to director of operations, construction division. Briesacher was previously a senior project manager; Gralike has previously held the positions of manpower director and project manager.

ILSCO Corp. (Cincinnati): The company has announced two promotions: Karen Hemmer has been promoted to product manager for the electrical distribution served markets, and MaryJo Heffernan has been promoted to manager, distribution services.

Quality Lighting, a division of JJI Lighting Group Inc. (Franklin Park, Ill.): The manufacturer has announced new sales representation for two territories in the Eastern United States. Municipal Lighting Systems, Miami, is responsible for Southeast Florida, including Miami. Lighting Affiliates, Rocky Hill, Conn., is responsible for Connecticut and Western Massachusetts.

Starfire Lighting Inc. (Jersey City, N.J.): The manufacturer has announced the appointment of five new sales organizations. Intermountain Electrical Sales, Salt Lake City, acquires responsibility for Montana and Utah. EGH Inc., Memphis, acquires the western Tennessee territory, including the greater Memphis area. Tennessee Lighting Sales, Nashville, represents Starfire throughout central Tennessee. Lighting Dynamics, Akron, Ohio, now represents the line throughout northern Ohio. Mid-Ohio, Columbus, Ohio, acquires the territory for southern Ohio, including the Columbus area.

Ultrawatt Energy Systems Inc. (Fort Meyers, Fla.): Willie Sutton has been appointed vice president of sales and strategic alliance development. Before joining Ultrawatt, he held sales and marketing positions with CMS Viron Energy Services.
