Buckles-Smith (San Jose, Calif): David Dohm has joined Buckles-Smith as business development manager for the company's Salinas Service Center. He brings significant experience in the electrical distribution industry, including technical sales and management positions at One Source Distributors in Southern California and Central Wholesale in Northern California. Dohm majored in electrical engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, holds the MCSE and RCDD credentials and is an experienced electrician. In other news at Buckles-Smith, Kelli Elliott has joined the company as account manager in the company's Palo Alto Service Center. She has 15 years of industry experience in field sales, most recently with Rockwell Automation in the San Francisco Bay Area. Elliott holds a bachelors degree from University of California at Irvine and an MBA from UC Davis.

SATCO Products Inc. (Brentwood, N.Y.): appointed Phil Alexander as regional sales manager for the Pacific Northwest. Mr. Alexander is succeeding Dan Webb, following his retirement after 20 years with SATCO. Alexander has been in the lighting business in the northwest for 15 years, starting with his own showroom distribution company, Alexander Lighting, which was acquired by North Coast Electric in 2004. He remained on board with North Coast Electric until he joined SATCO earlier this year.

Ideal Industries Inc. (Sycamore, Ill.): Brian Slayton has been named business unit manager for the company's Tools and Supplies group. With his experience in manufacturing processes, Slayton will further strengthen the unit's leadership in professional-grade quality hand tools, tool bags and cutting accessories while targeting expansion into new product categories to serve the electrical, construction and data communications markets. He will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Tools and Supplies group, including oversight of Ideal's manufacturing facility and distribution center in Sycamore and will report directly to Glenn Hollister, vice president and general manager of the Ideal Electrical Division. He comes to Ideal from the Building Components Group of ITW.

ConneXion Inc. (Buffalo Grove, Ill.): Daniel Dobski is now director of sales and marketing, A 35-year-veteran of the electrical distribution industry, Dobski's responsibilities will include the development of all sales and marketing plans and employee development.

Encorp (Fort Collins, Colo.): Darrell Struss is now Southwestern regional sales manager at the firm, which markets software and hardware products that allow companies to monitor, control and manage energy equipment at many locations. He will oversee sales in the southwestern United States, Mexico, Central America and South America. Prior to his appointment at Encorp, Struss was GE's Mexico manager. He also spent 11 years at Automatic Switch Co. (ASCO), where he helped the company expand into Latin America and the Caribbean. He has a B.A. in industrial technology from Texas A&M.

OneSource Distributors (Oceanside, Calif.): Mike Blanchard is now vice president of supplier relations and business development. He will be responsible for developing and implementing joint growth initiatives and marketing strategies with key suppliers, developing target market and customer strategies and managing key supplier relationships. Blanchard has been in the electrical industry for more than 25 years and is rejoining OneSource after working with other electrical distributors in the Southwest region of the U.S. for the past eight years.

Hunt Electric Supply Co. (Burlington, N.C.): Doug Arnette is now branch manager of the company's Winston-Salem location. The company has eight locations in central North Carolina that focus heavily on the contractor market.

Arrow Fastener Co. (Saddle Brook, N.J.): Gary DuBoff has been named president. He joins the company from MASCO Bath, where he recently served as senior vice president of sales at that company's Moorestown, N.J., location. Prior to MASCO Bath, DuBoff served as vice president of sales and marketing for American Shower & Bath (a Masco Co.). He has a B.A. degree from Penn State University.

Lighting Science Group (Satellite Beach, Fla.): Khaled Haram has joined the company as president and chief operating officer. He will be responsible for finance and accounting, information technology, and supply chain and manufacturing operations. He will report to Zach Gibler, who became CEO in June. Haram has more than 25 years of experience across several industries, including entertainment supply chain management, consumer goods and management consulting. He joins LSG from Pegasus Capital Advisors LP, a private equity fund. He has a M.B.A. in finance from New York University's Stern School of Business, a B.S. in computer science from New York University, and a B.E.E. in Electrical Engineering from The Cooper Union.

Powers Fasteners Inc. (Brewster, N.Y.): David Steiner has joined the company as vice president of trade development. In this newly created position, Steiner will focus on assisting Powers to obtain major contracts with large contractors and major projects. He will work with Mark Ziegler, who oversees Powers Engineering, and Jack Zenor, who manages Powers New Business Development, to focus on primarily Hilti business in both the construction and industrial markets. Steiner brings extensive capabilities, having worked for Hilti for 16 years, most recently as division sales manager and formerly director of strategic business.

Conservation Services Group (CSG) (Westborough, Mass): Energy industry veteran Samuel Nutter was appointed as New England business development director and Andrew J. Fisk is now New York regional director. Nutter will represent CSG's interests at regulatory proceedings, advisory council meetings and other industry forums in the region. Fisk will be responsible for all New York operations for the national energy service firm. He will be based out of CSG's Albany office.
