Fulham North America (Hawthorne, Calif.): Terry O'Neal is joining the company as global V.P. of administration and will manage Fulham's innovation, product

Fulham North America (Hawthorne, Calif.): Terry O'Neal is joining the company as global V.P. of administration and will manage Fulham's innovation, product expansion and new product development process throughout Fulham R&D organizations in China, India and the United States. O'Neal held senior management posts at Schneider Electric and with other global engineered product companies. He has a B.S. in engineering technology from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.

Leviton Manufacturing Co. (Melville, N.Y.): Scott Wilson has joined the company as national sales manager-renewables and will be responsible for sales and marketing of Leviton solar energy products throughout the U.S. He will be based in Chula Vista, Calif. Prior to joining Leviton, Wilson was region V.P. of sales for DRI Energy, where he was responsible for overseeing a sales organization developing solar energy projects throughout the western U.S. Prior to his tenure at DRI Energy, he was general manager for McBride Electric, a large national electrical contractor and solar construction company. Wilson is a graduate of Criss College and Control Data Institute of Technology.

Applied Industrial Technologies (Cleveland): Neil Schrimsher will become CEO of this industrial distributor effective Oct. 25, immediately following the company's annual shareholder meeting, at which time he will also be appointed to the board of directors. Schrimsher will succeed David Pugh, who previously announced he would retire and step down from the board. Schrimsher was most recently executive V.P. of Cooper Industries, where he led multiple businesses in Cooper's Electrical Products Group. Prior to joining Cooper in 2006 as president of Cooper Lighting, he worked for Siemens and GE. He holds an MBA from John Carroll University and a BS in business administration (marketing) from the University of Tennessee.

Coleman Cable Inc. (CCI) (Waukegan, Ill): The company recently made several key changes to its sales and marketing teams. John Pappas has been appointed senior V.P.-corporate marketing; Dan Jones has been appointed V.P. of national accounts- electrical distribution; Marc Hall has been promoted to the position of director of sales, electrical distribution; and Scott Hagen has joined the company as director of product development-assembled products.

A member of the CCI management team for more than 27 years, Pappas will work across all CCI business units and channels to promote the company's expanding product offering. During his three years with CCI, Jones has overseen the HVAC and Irrigation distribution businesses. Hall, a 12-year CCI veteran, will focus on driving industrial sales through electrical distribution, and in his new role, Hagen will develop and implement product and sales strategies for new and existing assembled products and oversee the product integration of recent and future CCI acquisitions.

FireLite Alarms/Honeywell, (Northford, Conn.): Steve McCurdy has been appointed national sales manager and will be responsible for the support and growth of U.S. electrical wholesalers' fire alarm systems business. Through product training and marketing, coupled with sales support programs, McCurdy plans to help wholesalers of Fire-Lite Alarms and Honeywell Power Products equipment expand their customer reach and increase profitable sales volumes. Prior to joining Fire-Lite Alarms he worked in a similar national sales position for Leviton. He holds a B.S. of science and electrical engineering degree from the University of Rhode Island.

Siemens Inc. (Atlanta): Daryl Dulaney has been appointed CEO of the company's newly-formed Infrastructure and Cities (IC) Sector in North America, which comprises the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America. Dulaney also will continue to serve as president and CEO of Siemens Industry, Inc., the legal entity comprising both the Infrastructure and Cities and Industry Sectors in the United States. With more than 30 years experience at Siemens, Dulaney was named president and CEO of Siemens Industry Inc. in Oct. 2009. He earned a BS degree in architecture from Ohio State University and a MBA from Northwestern University.

The IC Sector will be organized into five divisions: Building Technologies, Low and Medium Voltage (power distribution for utilities and facilities), Mobility and Logistics (traffic, transport and logistics management), Rail Systems (rail vehicles) and Smart Grid (intelligent power grids). The division leads for North America reporting to Daryl Dulaney are: Michael Cahill, president, Rail Systems; Thierry Godart, president, Smart Grid; Terry Heath, president, Mobility and Logistics; Andreas Schierenbeck, president, Building Technologies; and Kevin Yates, president, Low and Medium Voltage.

Griffith Electric Supply Co. (Trenton, N.J.): Crystal Simmons has been promoted to V.P. - Operations. Crystal started her career with Griffith Electric in 1990 as an order picker, moving to inventory, then counter sales, counter manager, and most recently was the warehouse manager. In addition to her current responsibilities, Crystal will now assist all of Griffith's locations with their operational issues. Ron Kaczmarek has been named branch manager of Griffith Electric's newest branch in Langhorne, Pa. Kaczmarek has been with Griffith for over two years, working in the project department. He is a 40-year veteran of the electrical industry with a wide range of experience in distribution and construction. Jim Carson joined Griffith Electric in July as an inside sales/counter representative at Griffith's newest branch in Langhorne, Pa. Jim has over 25 years of electrical experience working for Arnold Electric.

Venture Lighting International (Solon, Ohio): Allan Weaver recently joined the Venture sales and marketing team as the Western regional sales manager. He comes to Venture with more than 20 years of experience working with various fixture and lamp manufacturers including Cooper Lighting, Osram Sylvania and Eye Lighting.

Also at Venture, Phillip Bearden was named business development manager, part of the company's market/business development team. Bearden has a background as a design, product and sales engineer. He brings more than 20 years of market, product and business development experience with Ericson Manufacturing and Kirby and Regina vacuum cleaners and 22 years in the U.S. Army.

Romac (Commerce, Calif.): This supplier of custom, new and surplus electrical equipment has added veteran switchgear design engineer Howard Scott to the engineering staff of Power Controls Inc. (PCI), a ROMAC division that specializes in custom electrical service equipment for industrial and commercial installations. He began his electrical career designing switchgear for Cutler-Hammer in 1966. Since then, Scott has designed low-voltage and medium-voltage switchgear for several switchgear manufacturers in the United States.

In other Romac news, Bill Archer recently rejoined the company as an inside sales representative after working for the past three years with another electrical supply house in the Southern California area. His electrical specialties include industrial fuses, air- and molded-case circuit breakers, and transformers.

Luminus Devices (Billerica, Mass.): David Rubin ha been named director of sales for North America, managing sales to direct and distribution customers of the company's general lighting, entertainment lighting, display & signage and ultra-violet LED systems. Rubin joins Luminus from Everlight Americas, where he was president, and has previously worked with Brinkman Corp. and Lighting Science Group. He holds a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and an executive MBA from UT-Dallas.

Lumen/Sonepar Canada (Mississauga, Ont.): Serge Leblanc, former vice president of marketing for Lumen, has been appointed president of Lumen in Quebec to succeed François Anquetil. A graduate in marketing, LeBlanc has 20 years of experience in the electrical wholesaling industry, including 10 years with Crouse-Hinds before he joined Lumen in 1997 and then was named vice president of sales and marketing in 2002.

Affiliated Distributors (Wayne, Pa.): At the recently held 2011 A-D Electrical Division North American Meeting in Las Vegas, David Weisberg, Affiliated Distributor's founder, was honored by his son, Bill Weisberg, A-D's chairman and CEO, in a tribute to the group's 30th anniversary. Affiliated Distributors said Weisberg was honored for “his leadership, vision and persistence in the face of overwhelming obstacles in helping independent electrical distributors successfully compete in the electrical industry.”

Schréder Lighting US, Addison, Ill., has named H&H Prescott, Birmingham, Ala., as its new sales agency in Alabama. H&H Prescott Inc. was created through a merger in July 2001 by H&H Lighting's Dan Houck and Greg Hull, and Prescott & Associates' John Prescott. The agency offers more than 150 years of experience and lighting solutions for the design community, distributors, contractors, and lighting showrooms.
