The Wiremold Co. (West Hartford, Conn.): Ken Freeman has been appointed director of communication sales. Freeman has been with The Wiremold Co. since 1992 when he started as a specification sales representative in Dallas. His most recent assignment has been strategic account manager in the communications market; he will continue those account responsibilities.

Eoff Electric Supply (Salem, Ore.): Mike Lindner has been appointed director of industrial automation and energy management. Lindner is a longtime Eoff employee. Additionally, Bob Mumford was appointed director of sales and marketing. Mumford is a 15-year Eoff Electric veteran. Eoff Electric is a Sonepar USA company.

Thomas & Betts Corp. (Memphis, Tenn.): Effective Oct. 11, Jerre L. Stead resigned as a director of Thomas & Betts. Stead has held a number of executive positions with various prominent companies. He was president of Square D Co. from 1987 to 1989.

Thomas Lighting (Louisville, Ky.): John Dost joins Thomas Lighting as manager of new business development, with concentration in the western United States. Dost was with Wayne-Dalton Corp. for the last two years as the builder sales manager. He also spent seven years with the Ingersoll-Rand Architectural Hardware Division as a builder account manager focusing on the new residential construction market.

EMCOR Group Inc. (Norwalk, Conn.): Anthony J. Guzzi has been appointed president and chief operating officer. Guzzi joins EMCOR after seven years with United Technologies Corp. and its subsidiary Carrier Corp. Since 2001, Guzzi served as president of Carrier's North American Parts, Distribution and Services division. Frank T. MacInnis will remain as chairman of the board and chief executive officer.

Littelfuse Inc. (Des Plaines, Ill.): The Powr-Gard division of Littelfuse has announced the addition of Greg Beaudry as North American strategic distribution manager. With more than 20 years of experience in the electrical industry, Beaudry was most recently the national accounts manager at Erico Inc.

Beacon Products Inc. (Sarasota, Fla.): Edward J. Kramer, an electrical engineer with more than 30 years of accomplishment in the commercial lighting industry, has been named division director for the new Visio Lighting division of Beacon Products Inc., a subsidiary of Varon Lighting Inc.

Lincoln Electric Holdings Inc. (Cleveland): John M. Stropki, who was named president and chief executive officer in June, has been elected chairman of the board. Stropki succeeds Anthony A. Massaro, who retired the end of the October after more than 11 years with the company. Stropki, also a member of the NEMA board of directors, began his Lincoln career 35 years ago.

LEDtronics Inc. (Torrance, Calif.): LEDtronics Inc. has appointed Kurt Weegmann as its new OEM/MRO representative for Minnesota. Weegmann brings 20 years of experience in electronics and sales to the solid-state lighting arena.

Schaedler Yesco Distribution Inc. (Harrisburg, Pa.): Schaedler Yesco has announced several new staff appointments. Glenn Tilley has been appointed lighting specialist. A former lighting representative, Tilley's experience spans more than 25 years in the electrical industry. Melissa Cornell has accepted a position as datacom outside sales representative; Mark Buckley has been appointed control specialist; and Wendy Farren assumes a position as outside sales representative. Additionally, Kelly Betz has accepted the position of automation systems engineer; and Christine Notarfrancesco has been appointed project administrator in the construction department.

Fiberstars Inc. (Fremont, Calif.): Wayne R. Hellman and Sabu Krishnan have resigned from the board of directors. Hellman is chief executive officer of Advanced Lighting Technologies Inc. (ADLT), and Krishnan is chief operating officer of ADLT. Their service on the Fiberstars board filled the two seats contractually associated with a substantial position in Fiberstars stock once held by ADLT. Because ADLT no longer owns a substantial position in Fiberstars shares, the contractual agreement for the two board seats is void.
