Richard J. Crossland has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Duro-Test Corp., Fairfield, N.J. He will also serve as president and chief operating officer of DuroLite International, Duro-Test's parent company. Previously, he was executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Genlyte Thomas Group.

At Rexel, Inc., Paris, France, Jean-Brice Guerin has been named marketing vice president. He was previously director of marketing and development for Rexel Datacom. Brett Powers has been appointed president of that business unit. Barry Laidman has been named national purchasing vice president. Most recently he was vice president of sales and marketing for the Midwest division.

At American Insulated Wire Corp., Pawtucket, R.I., John Kaplan has been appointed national sales manager. Most recently, he was vice president, business development, at General Cable. Gerry King has been appointed national sales manager for Canada. He was previously regional sales manager.

Jodie Glore has resigned as president and chief executive officer of Iomega Corp., Roy, Utah. He was previously president and chief operating officer at Rockwell Automation and corporate senior vice president of its parent company, Rockwell International. David Dunn, chairman of Iomega, is expected to serve as acting president and CEO until a replacement is found.

Robert Michael Miller, owner and chief executive officer of Pentagon Freight Services, has been elected to the board of directors of Warren Electric Group, Houston, Texas, replacing Malcolm Watson, Sr., who is retiring. Jack Walker, previously Clute, Texas, branch manager, has been promoted to Houston metro regional sales manager.

Steven Austen has been elected president and chief executive officer of Fingerlakes Electric Supply Co., Inc., Ithaca, N.Y. He succeeds his father, Edward N. Austen, who will continue as secretary and chairman of the board. c Joseph A. Hahn has been appointed president of Joslyn Manufacturing Co., Franklin Park, Ill., and of CTCJoslyn, Atlanta, both owned by Washington, D.C.-based Danaher Corp. Hahn previously was president of two other Danaher companies, including Warrick Controls and Gems Sensors.

At Graybar Electric Co., Inc., St. Louis, Mo., Ronald J. Radtke has been named vice president and general manager. He was formerly the Greenville, S.C., branch manager. Gerard J. Kollar, formerly national product manager, has been appointed director, national accounts.

William VanArsdale has been named vice president, global sales and marketing, at Cutler-Hammer/Eaton Corp., Pittsburgh, Pa. He was previously a vice president and marketing director at Allen-Bradley. He succeeds Frank Navratil, who will become vice president, electrical distribution products operations. Navratil succeeds Spencer Duin.

Robert Jordan, previously pricing manager, has been promoted to market development manager for Industrial & Commercial Lighting at Osram Sylvania, Danvers, Mass. He will also serve as the liaison to the Affiliated Distributors Marketing group.

At Fiberstars, Inc., Fremont, Calif., Alan Ruud and Jon Merriman have been appointed to serve on the company's board of directors. Ruud is vice chairman, president and chief operating officer of Advanced Lighting Technologies (ADLT) and chairman and chief executive officer of Ruud Lighting. Merriman is the managing director and head of Equity Capital Markets Group of First Security Van Kasper.

Tom Hudak has been named vice president, MRO sales, at The Stanley Works, New Britain, Conn. He was previously vice president of sales for the EGS Electrical Group, Chicago, Ill.

Pat Toomey, with more than 20 years' experience in the electric motor repair industry, has been named repair shop manager at K.J. Electric, Syracuse, N.Y.

John M. Berra has been named senior vice president at Emerson Electric Co., St. Louis, Mo., responsible for the company's process-control business, which includes the Fisher-Rosemount companies. He was most recently president of Fisher-Rosemount, Emerson's largest business unit.

At Anicom, Rosemont, Ill., the following was announced: Alan Anixter, founding chairman of the board, will chair a new executive management committee; Scott Anixter, chairman and chief executive officer, has been promoted to chairman of the board; Carl Putnam, president and chief operating officer, has been promoted to chief executive officer and president; John Figurelli, vice president of operations, has been promoted to senior executive vice president and chief operating officer; and Don Welchko, vice president and chief financial officer, has been promoted to senior executive vice president and chief financial officer. These executives will constitute the new management committee and will oversee the operations, finance function and growth strategy of the company, including future acquisitions.

Brian D. O'Connell has been named general manager of Alpha Wire Co., Elizabeth, N.J. He succeeds Paul M. Schlessman, who has been named vice president of finance, treasurer and chief financial officer at Belden, Inc. O'Connell was most recently vice president, industrial business unit, for C&M Corp.

John Stanney has resigned as president and chief financial officer of Super Vision International, Inc., Orlando, Fla. Brett Kingstone, company founder and chief executive officer, will again assume the title of company president. Jack Gallagher, of Tatum CFO Partners LLP, will act as interim chief financial officer.

Ben Lazar has been named chief technology officer at Unilink Group, Atlanta, Ga. His duties will include development of Electrical Online and the company's other EDI services. He was director of electronic commerce for Hubbell, Inc.

Willy L. Verbrugghe has been elected corporate vice president and president of the Industrial and Commercial group at Kollmorgen Corp., Waltham, Mass. He was previously president of the Sermatech International division of Teleflex Sermatech.

At Trade Service Corp., San Diego, Calif., Tom Fleming has been promoted to president of the Commerce Information Solutions strategic business unit. He was previously chief information officer and served on the senior management team for the past eight years. Leslie D'Amato, most recently director of sales, has been promoted to vice president of marketing. Mark Holland, previously national sales manager, has been promoted to vice president of sales. John Henry has been promoted to director of marketing. He was most recently product manager, Published Data Services.

David Weinstein has been named a senior sales manager at Lutron Electronics Co., Inc., Coopersburg, Pa. He was previously president of Yusen Associates, Inc., a Woburn, Mass.-based manufacturers' rep agency. Weinstein will head up the company's residential contractor Earn and Learn initiative, and he will act as a sales consultant to the company's manufacturers' representatives.

At CLS, Hartford, Conn., Mike Skolnick has been named manager of the Woburn, Mass., branch. Mel Barber has been named a member of the inside sales staff at the Stratford, Conn., branch. Pete Tamborini has been named second shift supervisor at the company's headquarters. Dawn O'Neil has been named a member of the design/build lighting group.

Rick Shea has been named eastern regional sales manager at Jefferson Electric, Inc., Franklin, Wis. Most recently he worked in this capacity with Halex Products Corp.

At Dealers Electrical Supply, Waco, Texas, Randy Urbina has been appointed western division manager. He also will continue as the El Paso branch manager. Grainger "Bubba" Crow has been promoted to eastern division manager. He also will continue as manager of the Tyler branch. Phil Ayers, most recently an industrial account manager, has been promoted to eastern division sales manager.

Joseph B. McHugh has been named Baltimore sales representative at Dominion Electric Supply Co., Inc., Arlington, Va. Previously, he was an industrial sales manager with another local distributor, Shepherd Electric Supply Co.
