Rexel SA and Sonepar SA, the two biggest electrical distributors in the world, had another busy year on the acquisition trail. The big news was Rexel's purchase of Hagemeyer and its sale of that company's U.S. operations to Sonepar USA and its integration of Gexpro (formerly GE Supply) into its operations.
