NESCO has relocated its warehouse and counter operations to a new 60,000-square-foot central distribution center (CDC) in Norwood, Mass. The new facility more than triples the warehouse space it had at its Canton, Mass., headquarters.

“We're very excited about the opening of our new central distribution center, as it represents a significant milestone in the growth of the company,” said Joseph A. Cincotta, NESCO's president and CEO. “As a result of our investment in the new CDC, we will be able to continue enhancing the level of service we provide our customers.”

As part of an ongoing effort to expand and improve the services it offers to contractor customers, the company also relocated its electrical counter to the Norwood location. The new location offers contractors more self-service merchandising displays for greater product selection, flexible building access and a convenient workspace to conduct last-minute business. This expansion also enables NESCO to increase its ability to service national accounts from a stock-flow position and to improve logistics for electrical contractors and industrial accounts.

NESCO ranked No. 107 on Electrical Wholesaling's 2006 Top 200 listing, with 125 employees and six locations.
