Needham Electric Supply, Canton, Mass., hosted a customer appreciation event in August at Gillette Stadium, the home of the New England Patriots, and drew hundreds of customers and vendors from Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, Texas, Chicago and Georgia.
Customer Appreciation Day 2013 kicked off with the GE Energy Odyssey Tour Bus parked out front, giving customers hands on experiences with the latest GE technologies to improve facility safety, productivity and reliability. They then made their way up to the East Lounge where Needham Associates greeted them to the trade show floor where nearly 40 vendors were on hand to let them test out new products. Three-time Super Bowl champion offensive guard Joe Andruzzi stopped by for a meet and greet before lunch. Customers received personalized autographed posters and a complimentary photograph with Andruzzi, who was wearing his most recent Super Bowl ring.
After lunch, customers headed to the Executive Suites to attend brief technical seminars hosted by Needham suppliers GE Lighting, Hubbell Wiring, Firelite, Lutron, Boston Safety Training, Juno, RAB and Crouse-Hinds. Over 100 prizes were raffled off, including the grand prize of two tickets to the New England Patriots vs. Denver Broncos game, Nov. 24.
To wrap up the day, customers were taken on an exclusive field tour. Gillette Stadium tour guides took them through the tunnel where the Patriots prepare for every game to the visitors’ locker room where they were free to take photographs and try on equipment, then out onto the Patriots’ storied home field. Needham declared the event a touchdown.
