The IRiS product line is unveiling the MH4LED lamp module for use with a 4-inch square housing platforms and open, lens and lens wall wash trims. The LED module combines segmented optics with an A-Line shaped glass diffuser delivering exceptional color quality and light control. Also available with a dim to warm option that mimics black body dimming.
The MH4LED module can be used to retrofit tungsten-halogen, compact fluorescent and ceramic metal halide lamp modules in existing IRiS installations. It can also be used for new construction targeting both prestige residential and commercial applications. The light engine is provided with driver module, installs from above the ceiling or thru the aperture and dims to 1 percent using phase cut controls.
Lighting Science launched its Glimpse Indirect Recessed Retrofit luminaire at LightFair 2014. It's a one-to-one LED replacement designed for installation into six-inch downlights cans using an E26 base. The hidden LEDs provide the equivalent output to a 65W halogen lamp with the spread of a bulged reflector. An aluminum reflective dome allows for thermal management with a clean aesthetic.
The Glimpse Indirect is dimmable and as simple to install as screwing in a light bulb. It can be surface mounted as a light fixture, making it an option for commercial retrofit or new construction applications as well as making it compliant with California's Title 24 Residential Code.

The EYE GL Series is stylishly designed, but versatile and rugged for a variety of lighting applications including parking garages, canopies, warehouses, factories, gyms, floodlighting and retail settings. Available in 100W, 120W and 150W models, the GL Series delivers 9,600 to 15,600 lumens with 80+ lumens per watt efficacy. It carries an IP66 Rating for water and dust tightness. Installation is easy, with four mounting options available: ceiling Mount- chain or pendant, surface mount, and yoke mount. The EYE GL Series features a uniquely designed heat sink and driver that draw heat away from the LED array, allowing cooler operation and longer life.
Featuring Cree TrueWhiteTechnology, the ZR Series LED troffer delivers a CRI of over 90 in a slim, sleek package. The ZR Series LED troffer cuts energy consumption in half, and also offers standard 0-10V dimming that can accelerate its already rapid two-year payback. The ZR Series LED troffer's thin 3.9-inch height and lightweight design enables faster installation without costly ceiling alterations.
Offering a quick and easy one-for-one replacement of inefficient fluorescent troffers in education, healthcare and commercial building applications, the ZR Series LED troffer simplifies installation and significantly reduces labor costs during its 75,000-hour lifetime in all 1-foot x4-foot, 2-foot x 4-foot and 2-foot x 2-foot configurations.
GE's industrial-grade Albeo ABV1 Series LED high-bay lighting fixture is designed to provide a faster return on investment than other high-bay lighting fixtures. It's built with a robust, high-quality design and is ideal for replacing 250W to 1,500W high-intensity discharge (HID) and four- to eight-lamp T5/T8 high-intensity fluorescent lighting, which typically burn out after 20,000-30,000 hours. The rated L70 life for the ABV1 Series is 100,000 hours.
Osram ModuleX Recessed Multi-Lamp Luminaires are designed to be a family of easily customizable LED fixtures for accent, display and downlighting for new construction and remodel applications. With a long 50,000-hour rated life (L70), the ModuleX offering includes scalable, modular components (housings, LED sources, reflectors, gimbal mounts, and accessories) in a variety of configurations making it easy to customize the light to a particular application. They are designed for trimless installation in drywall ceilings, and also include trimmed models with a half-inch flange.
Marker Light Series concept luminaires offer a new approach for decorative, orientation and low-level illumination. These OLED luminaires can create a directional beacon in high traffic areas, add visual appeal, provide subtle orientation along a movement path, and provide low-level illumination in critical care areas as part of a 24-hour lighting scheme, benefiting both patients and their caregivers. Featuring OLED panels from OLEDWorks, the concept luminaire series demonstrates use of an amber OLED at a 590 nanometers (nm) peak, and fixed luminance of 600 candelas per meter squared (cd/m2). With this level of illumination, the fixtures are an appropriate option for night lighting in healthcare applications.
Designed to replace less-efficient compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs), MaxLite has launched 5W and 7W LED PL Retrofit Lamps with GU24, GX23 and G24q pin base options. The new LED PL lamps easily retrofit a variety of commercial fixtures, including recessed cans, sconces, and ceiling fixtures commonly used to light retail stores, hotels and apartment buildings. They deliver a color-rendering index (CRI) greater than 82, with uniform consistency, and a long, 50,000-hour life, which is five times longer than standard CFLs. The LEDs deliver an output ranging from 450 to 750 lumens, with an efficacy of up to 110 lumens per watt. Models are available in correlated color temperatures (CCTs) ranging from 2700K to 5,000K.
Lutron's Quantum Total Light Management System now offers Quantum Vue building management software, accessible from asmart phone, tablet or desktop computer. This software is designed to help streamline the building management process by enabling facilities teams to access their building lighting control anytime from anywhere.
Features of the Quantum Vue software include a simple, intuitive software interface that gives building managers the ability to manage, monitor and report on all the energy usage in a building and reprogram lighting scenes and shade presets from a mobile device, smartphone and computer.
Hubbell Lighting's Lunabay can now deliver up to 23,650 lumens. Available in 12,300, 18,000 and 23,650 lumens, the Lunabay LED High Bay offers an unmatched combination of efficiency, long life and low glare light to attractively light large interior spaces such as retail stores, light industrial facilities, gyms, and multi-purpose rooms in schools.
A key feature of the Lunabay is the patented low glare LED light optical system. Often in large interior spaces, traditional downlights create the "cave" effect and produce glare. The fixture's unique optical system mixes the light of all LEDs to create consistent, low glare light with a smooth, even distribution and a CRI of 68.
