Thomas Lighting Walks to Raise Money for Leukemia/Lymphoma Society

Employees of Thomas Lighting, Louisville, Ky., took to the streets this fall in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's “Light the Night Walk.”

The Thomas group walked in support of Michael Fraser, the son of the Thomas' general manager. Michael was diagnosed with leukemia in August 2000. After undergoing extensive treatment and chemotherapy, Michael is currently in remission and has returned to college.

Thomas Lighting raised more than $5,000 in support of the walk, which overall generated more than $125,000 for the fight against blood-related cancers.
