A post at www.cnbc.com discussed an interesting aspect of the astounding 276,000 reservations that potential customers made for Tesla’s Model 3 – How many of these drivers will get the $7.5K federal tax credit generally available for purchasing an electric car? According to www.cnbc.com, the rebate is available to the first 200,000 buyers of an electric vehicle in the U.S. from each automaker, and with this many non-binding reservations already on the books, industry analysts don’t believe everyone buying the Tesla Model 3 will get a rebate.
