The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) recently announced it is hosting a live webinar on January 14 at 12 p.m. EST to discuss trends and new technology in preparation for the upcoming workshop between the IES and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). Hosted by Mark Lien, the presentation features a panel of lighting editors, including Randy Reid, editor of Edison Report; Paul Tarricone, editor of Lighting Design & Application Magazine; Al Uszynski, editor of Inside.Lighting; and Maury Wright, editor of LEDs Magazine.
This panel will cover topics ranging from whose job it is to keep up with information that impacts lighting professionals to who is responsible for keeping the pulse of the lighting community and more. Free for IES members and worth 1 continuing education unit (CEU), this webinar is preparation for the DOE/IES Workshop, scheduled for February 1 through 4. This year's workshop will feature sessions reflecting the state of the lighting industry and project how trends and new technologies will alter peoples' lives.
