Former PGA Golf Pro Joins Orbit as Outside Salesperson

McElyea will also support the region with training, marketing and promotional programs and will drive Orbit Industries’ sales strategies in cities south of the San Francisco Bay, including Daly City, Paolo Alto, and Mountain View.
Orbit Industries (Los Angeles):Cory McElyea is now an outside salesperson for the South San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to Orbit, McElyea was a member of the Professional Golfers Association (PGA) and competed in several tournaments including the 2013 U.S. Open Golf Championship. In his new role, he will focus on educating and selling Orbit Industries’ product line to electrical contractors through Orbit distributors. His territory also extends through the counties of Monterey, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and San Mateo.
Before joining Orbit, Cory McElyea was a full-time professional golfer. He won the 113th California Golf Association’s Amateur Championship. He toured with the PGA and competed in the 2013 U.S. Open Golf Championship. McElyea is a graduate of the University of San Francisco.
