Gross Electric of Toledo, Ohio, is the recipient of an all-inclusive 2011 Daytona 500 vacation for two, courtesy of RAB Lighting. The lighting manufacturer held a contest for the vacation giveaway during the fourth quarter of 2010. Contestants were entered automatically if they placed a RAB LED order during the month of November. Colleen Braham and Laurie Gross of Gross Electric accepted the award, presented by RAB Lighting manufacturer representative Jason Dials of Gobeille-Robinson & Associates.
Gross Electric has had great success selling RAB Lighting's LED products through the RAB LED Champion program. Distributor outside salesmen, designated as LED Champions, received free LED Samples built with a cord and plug installed. The cord and plug LED samples make it easy for outside salesmen to demonstrate the power of RAB LED fixtures to an array of end users, including contractors, facility managers and home owners.
The Daytona 500 prize package included airfare, a three-day and two-night stay with an ocean view, roundtrip transportation to and from the event and two of the best seats in the house, on the start-finish line at the race track.
