Lighting manufacturer EYE Lighting International, Mentor, Ohio, opened a new 2,000-square-foot luminaire design and assembly facility with manufacturing and assembly space as well as luminaire design offices. The 1,000-square-foot cell-manufacturing space is designed for efficient assembly of LED and HID luminaires in a pressure-controlled clean room environment with anti-static floors, designed specifically for LED storage and assembly. The space is equipped with fully digital, interactive assembly instructions and bill of materials on adjustable screens at each workstation.
