Rockingham Electric Supply's 10th Location Now Open in Lewiston, Maine
Rockingham Electric Supply, Newington, N.H., has opened its 10th location in Lewiston, Maine. Jim Pender, the company’s president, said Rockingham has been serving the Lewiston community for quite some time so it makes sense to bring a full-time staff to the area.
The staff will be led by store manager Steve Letourneau and Guy Langelier. Letourneau has worked for Rockingham Electric for two years coming to Lewiston from the company’s Augusta, Maine, location. Both have worked in the Lewiston area in the electric industry for more than two decades.
“Being able to link Rockingham Electric’s industry recognition and product base with the resources and area knowledge that people like Guy have is a powerful connection for contractors, builders, and homeowners in the Lewiston area,” Letourneau said in the press release.
Founded in 1959, Rockingham Electric now has over 110 employees and was ranked #107 in Electrical Wholesaling's 2014 Top 200 listing. In addition to its corporate headquarters and showroom in Newington, N.H., the company has branches in Amesbury, Mass.; Augusta and Portland, Maine; as well as Berlin, Claremont, Conway, Laconia, and Rochester, N.H.
