Keith Hinze is now director of sales for the company’s South Central region which includes Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Arkansas and Louisiana. His electrical and lighting experience includes sales and operating positions with Graybar, Colonial Lighting Supply, All-Phase and World Lighting & Design. He will be based in Houston and will call on electrical distributors, ESCOs, contractors, utilities and end-users on behalf of the Forest Lighting portfolio of LED lighting products.
Forest Lighting is the USA subsidiary of MLS Co., Ltd. of China, one of the 10 largest LED manufacturers in the world, according to IHS Technology. The company has experienced 20% annual growth, has 12,000 employees, and annual revenue in the $2 billion range. MLS recently purchased 10.91% of the outstanding shares of stock with$2 billion in annual revenue. It was listed on the Shenzhen stock exchange in March. Kaistar, with approximately $84 million in annual revenue, provides LED wafers, LED packaging and LED lighting products to the global market. In July 2015, Kaistar acquired US-based Bridgelux, whose intellectual property includes 750 patents in LED chips and package technologies.
