Square D Control Sets Stage for Oceans Thirteen

Schneider Electric said its Square D Clipsal lighting control products are included on the set of Ocean's Thirteen, the new summer movie by Warner Brothers

Schneider Electric said its Square D Clipsal lighting control products are included on the set of Ocean's Thirteen, the new summer movie by Warner Brothers Pictures. The movie, released last month, is a sequel to Ocean's Eleven and Ocean's Twelve, and stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon, among others.

“At last year's Lightfair International show, I was approached by a movie set designer about using Square D Clipsal lighting control products for a movie he had in development,” says David Bruce, Eastern Region business development manager for Installation Systems and Control at Schneider Electric. “He thought they'd be a good fit because of their distinct look.” The movie turned out to be Ocean's Thirteen.

Square D Clipsal lighting control products include dimmers, relays, motion sensors and input devices such as switches and touch screens crafted in sleek European styling. “We provided a range of Square D Clipsal control products to be considered for this unique application of our product,” Bruce continued. “The production team ultimately chose Clipsal due to the unique style of our Saturn and Neo keypads and touch screens and placed them throughout the movie set.”
