Vista Del Mar, one of southern California's oldest and most highly regarded children's community service organizations, was the recipient of a major donation by Nora Lighting, Commerce, Calif., on behalf of the company's owners, customers, independent reps and staff.
The donation was presented to Linda Karchem, director of Vista Del Mar Volunteer Programs, at a holiday dinner hosted by Fred and Jilla Frazan, owners of Nora Lighting.
“The Nora team was extremely pleased to be able to assist Vista Del Mar with this holiday gift,” said Jilla Farzan. “The organization's activities span a wide spectrum of services for families with children who have significant emotional, social, learning and developmental disabilities.”
Vista Del Mar sponsors nearly 40 programs that reach more than 6,000 children and families annually. Based in West Los Angeles and serving the greater Los Angeles area, the organization offers residential care, autism programs, adoption services, and oversees an accredited school for children with learning and emotional disabilities, including both a pre-school and K-12 classrooms.
