HD Supply will be working closely with utilities in these markets during the upcoming storm season to optimize power restoration to customers.
HD Supply Power Solutions, Atlanta, opened a new location in Indiana and expanded in Tennessee to support utility customers. The Indiana location at 503 S. Main St. in Linden, Ind., just south of Lafayette, recently hosted a trade show and open house. It will primarily provide inventory management for Tipmont REMC, a member-owned electric cooperative that serves some 21,800 members primarily in Tippecanoe, Fountain and Montgomery counties as well as portions of Benton, Boone, Carroll, Clinton and White counties.
The expanded location in Tennessee at 4100 Central Ave. Pike in Knoxville held a similar event. The newly renovated 20,000-square-foot warehouse doubled to accommodate the needs of electric utilities in the Knoxville area, which has been growing to support increased construction. Bill Lawyer, regional vice president-sales, HD Supply Power Solutions, said in the press release that the company will be working closely with utilities in these markets during the upcoming storm season to optimize power restoration to customers.
