Colonial Electric Supply, King of Prussia, Pa., recently opened its 25th counter location in Allentown, Pa., following the acquisition of Lighting Fixture & Supply, which has served the Lehigh Valley for over 50 years. Lighting Fixture & Supply was founded in 1955 by Rolland Rodgers.
Colonial’s newest stocking branch is located at 1033 Sumner Ave. in Allentown. The facility will support the local lighting, electrical, industrial and construction industries with products and services. "Combining the six decades of LFS relationships with Colonial's logistical competencies makes us together a much stronger force in the marketplace. But the real attraction for us came from their employees' strong passion for customer service,” said Steve Bellwoar, president of Colonial Electric Supply.
The Allentown location will fall under the territory of John Rodman, V.P of Colonial’s Western Region. Colonial Electric Supply was ranked at the 44th largest electrical distributors in North America in Electrical Wholesaling’s 2013 Top 200, with $181 million in sales.
