Klemp Joins Summit Electric Supply as Chief Financial Officer

Thomas Klemp is now CFO and V.P. of finance for Summit Electric Supply. He was recently the V.P. of finance and administration for a division of Layne Christensen, a global water management, construction, and drilling company.

Summit Electric Supply (Albuquerque, N.M.): Thomas Klemp is now CFO and V.P. of finance for Summit Electric Supply. He was recently the V.P. of finance and administration for a division of Layne Christensen, a global water management, construction, and drilling company, where he developed operational efficiencies and oversaw global compliance programs. Klemp will be based out of Summit’s Houston, Texas offices.

Through internal reporting and analysis of financial metrics, Klemp says he will work to bring about process improvements that enable Summit to grow and further enhance its reputation in the industry. He’ll also analyze international markets for future business opportunities. Klemp has a master’s degree in finance from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s in finance and accounting from Babson College.
