Livers of Eaton/Cooper Industries wins NEMRA Manufacturer of the Year Award

NEMRA presents the Thomas F. Preston award annually to an individual within a manufacturing firm who has shown outstanding business leadership, business integrity, and support of the independent electrical manufacturer’s representative and NEMRA.
Eaton’s Tammy Livers received the Thomas F. Preston Manufacturer of the Year award from the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA), Portsmouth, N.H., last week at NEMRA’s annual conference in Atlanta. Livers is V.P. of sales for Eaton’s Residential and Wiring Device Division, Peachtree City, Ga. She joined the electrical industry in 1997 and in addition to her present post at Eaton and executive posts at Cooper Industries also worked for Thomas & Betts and Hubbell.
NEMRA presents the Thomas F. Preston award annually to an individual within a manufacturing firm who has shown outstanding business leadership, business integrity, and support of the independent electrical manufacturer’s representative and NEMRA. The award is named in honor of Tom Preston, NEMRA’s first executive director, who served in that role from NEMRA’s inception in 1969 until 1986. It has been given annually at the NEMRA Annual Conference since 1979. Preston was also associate publisher of Electrical Wholesaling magazine from 1987-1991.
