The American Light Co., Zanesville, Ohio, is celebrating its 100-year anniversary this year. The company has been operating continuously since 1910 as a distributor of electrical supplies to contractors, commercial, industrial, medical and government accounts, says the company's Justin Stubbs.
The distributor is still operating out of the same building where it opened a century ago in downtown Zanesville a few blocks from the famous Y bridge. The company is employee-owned and has a full-time staff of 14.
“The company was established on principles of good quality products, excellent customer service and strong community involvement,” Stubbs tells us. “100 years later and a combined 220 years' experience, these same principles are true today.”
