Significant investments in construction projects related to the nation's infrastructure continue to be made through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009. Cooper Industries, Houston, which manufactures many products used in these construction projects, has taken a step to simplify the process for identifying ARRA-compliant products by launching a new website to help users search for, determine and certify the ARRA eligibility status of all active Cooper B-Line and Cooper Crouse-Hinds products.

The site at www.cooperindustries.com/government/ARRA assists in making documentation or certification of ARRA status readily available to project owners, with powerful search functionality to generate a list of compliant parts. The user can then generate a document certifying the ARRA compliance of the eligible parts.

Products range from conduit outlet bodies and EMT fittings to enclosures and hazardous location LED lighting solutions. Over 90 percent of Cooper B-Line products are compliant to the ARRA's Buy American provision, the company said.
