While the world was enjoying the spectacle of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games last month, much of what they were seeing was lit by fixtures from Cooper Lighting, Peachtree City, Ga. The company's lighting fixtures illuminate key structures in Vancouver, including the speed skating Richmond Olympic Oval venue, the Olympic Village Vancouver and the Whistler Olympic Athletes' High Performance Centre. Cooper Lighting luminaires adorn the area's Golden Ears bridge, the public transit Canada Line's Fraser River crossing bridge and the symbolic Olympic flag located at the Vancouver City Hall.

“Cooper Lighting is proud to once again be a part of such a grand event,” says Neil Schrimsher, president, Cooper Lighting. “As with the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, these unique projects demonstrate the breadth of Cooper Lighting's vast product portfolios and the company's ability to address a wide variety of application needs for projects of any size and scope.”
