Lighting manufacturer Bulbrite celebrated its 40th anniversary last month with a special event at its headquarters in Moonachie, N.J., and a tour of the Thomas Edison Museum. The Bulbrite family, including customers, sales representatives and vendors, enjoyed tours through the offices, warehousing and distribution facilities, lighting lab and showroom, and then were treated to educational seminars on two of the hottest topics in the industry: the Energy Independence and Security Act (EISA), and the importance of social media including Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Later in the afternoon, guests were taken on a private tour of the Thomas Edison Laboratory Complex in West Orange, N.J. During dinner hosted by founders and current president Andrew, Cathy and Dorothy Choi, guests were treated to a video about the company's history and snapshots of the day's events. Moonachie Mayor Dennis Vaccaro presented the Choi family with a proclamation honoring them and Bulbrite's employees on their 40th anniversary, and New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and New Jersey Senator Frank Lautenberg sent letters of congratulations.
